Friday march 2nd

Went for a run around the lakes. Ran fast around one of them. Could smell smoke probably left over from the riots yesterday.
Went into DIS for class. We learned about Marxism, communism, socialism, and uprisings and revolutions of the working class especially in Russia. We were given the assignment for the midterm which is about the effect of urbanization on history.
In Environmental history we learned about the mouldboard plow, dividing fields into three and using horses instead of oxen to do work with the use of the new coller that went around the horses chests instead of neck.
In Danish we talked about the violent revolts yesterday outside the youth house. Neither Peter Christiansen (my prof of history classes nor Nina my danish professor thought there was any good reason for the violence. The students were spoiled and felt to entitled and the situation got way out of hand in their opinions.
Danish class was fine. We learned the alphabet as well and how to say where you are from, country names and directions north east south west to describe where a town is. We brainstormed about topics for a presentation we have to do in english about Danish culture.
Elizabeth came home with me. We watched Bridget Jones' Diary II and made Mac and Cheese for dinner. Ida's still in Norway. Jens was at his mothers. Karen came home around 7 with friends and they cooked dinner.
